Project summary
A big-box retail store in St. Peters, St. Charles County, needed its fire main repaired. Kuesel replaced 16 LF of 10" ductile iron fire main and made a new 10" flange-and-spigot reconnection to the existing system.
To reach the line, crews removed and replaced the concrete floor and sidewalk and hauled off the spoils.

Challenge → approach
The fire main ran under the store's own floor. Kuesel cut in only where needed, made the repair and reconnection, and restored the floor and sidewalk to keep disruption to the operating store to a minimum.
